strange day

i love the chan centre rose garden.
it is so lovely, with such a beautiful view.
i feel peaceful here.
i reconnected with an old friend this afternoon. someone i thought id never talk to again. it was amazing.
listened to some beautiful music last night. the boys were hot, and the girl was too. the last show of a three week tour, and you could tell, they were totally in sync with one another, and they had beautiful things to say with their instruments. funny that people i have no interest in listening to in person so entrance me when they speak via drums, bass, sax.
thats not true, i like talking to the bass player in person, too.
i heard the piano player in a new light last night. think i understood her, for the first time.
oh the mysteries and intricacies of jazz.
